Born in 1980, Itay Marom is a filmmaker, cinematographer and visual artist. As a cinematographer, Marom shot many feature films, documentaries and shorts. Among his films are "The Cutoff Man" (Venice film festival 2012), “The Mountain” (Venice film festival 2015), “The Day After I’m Gone” (Berlinale 2019) and more. Itay also collaborated as a cinematographer with prominent documentary directors.
Since 2014 Itay is creating is own films. He has participated in Festivals, group and solo exhibitions. His video work “DOGS” was purchased for the collection of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and was screened in Kasseler Dokfilmfest.
